Physical or Virtual

Check to see if Exchange Server is Physical or Virtual.

Best Practice

Exchange Servers can be installed on Physical or virtual hardware. However, extra precautions should be made for virtual hardware.

What To Do

Verify physical hardware providing virtualization is sufficient to maintain optimal Exchange performance per Microsoft recommendations.
