I am new at this, so I don't know any background beyond finding info that is now obsolete and there are no updated guides.

How does it compile now to get the shared libs and add them to the x264 project? I don't see "configure" file, it's "INSTALL" instead and I don't understand how exactly it works. My working environment is msys-mingw32 and Windows 10.
