May I ask if this project has any kind of license? I am failing to find any clear information about reusing and distributing this code?
We have used below listed code files as a part for our university project where we needed to implement a DSP filter on a Nexsys board. Now, part of our task is to package and publish our code, but to be honest, it is not clear any more(after a lot of "googling" if this would be allowed or not).
Original idea was to list used packages under Copyright section as listed below, but in my understanding, if there is no license, code should not be "publicly" used or distributed.
All source code files in this repository are subject to the following copyright and licensing terms.
Copyright 2019 IEEE P1076 WG Authors
See the LICENSE file distributed with this work for copyright and licensing information, the AUTHORS file for a list of copyright holders, and the CONTRIBUTORS file for the list of contributors.
The files in FPHDL are not the same as in IEEE packages. @dbishopx handed some files and version over to IEEE for integration. Some files here are modified or adjusted to vendor specific needs or contain additional functionality not included in IEEE's official packages.
As @dbishopx handed over the code to IEEE, he dual licensed that specific code unter Apache License, 2.0. In VHDL-2019, updates where upstreamed for the floating and fixed point packages.
Hello!
