OSPF6 area: Area support for OSPFv3 is not yet implemented? #2453
Comments
This is supported |
Looks like the latest docs indicate that OSPF6 area support is not implemented. http://docs.frrouting.org/en/latest/ospf6d.html I think that's being pulled from here? |

Probably a case of the docs being 'outdated'.
The FRR docs is - in certain areas - not well-maintained. Which is a
known issue. Every user of FRR is always welcome to submit a PR for
the docs to be updated.
I recommend you to double-check the latest release (FRR v7.3) and see
which commands is supported (e.g. on the CLI, execute "find area")

heh. heh.
Will do! Thanks! |
Contrary to the FRR documentation (http://docs.frrouting.org/en/latest/ospf6d.html#ospf6-area) OSPFv3 areas are fully supported in FRR (FRRouting/frr#2453) So add support to the pfSense UI to enable multiple areas.

Is it true?
OSFPv3 does not support multiple areas?
Thanks,
