Icon Request: battery and progress bar indicators

Working on an app that needs to show a user some indication of how much progress they have made. It would be helpful to have both horizontal and vertical progress bar icons with different % complete amounts pre-filled or a base icon with bars that could be stacked to show amount of progress.

In a similar vain, battery status icons would also be helpful. Sorry I don't have any helpful images to attach, jquery ui has a battery icon that might help as a reference.

why not use standard css?

I'm not saying to use bootstrap, but css provides an easy way to make progress bars.

A battery icon instead has more sense. Refers to #492

Not opposed to that option - but its not as straightforward to get something that has the same look & feel as the font awesome icon set and setting up a vertical progress bar isn't the most fun activity in css-land.

Not sure why a battery icon wouldn't be a standard in Font-Awesome just like "wifi" and "signal" or even the new "plug". I wouldn't need the variations as I just use text color currently for the icons mentioned. For now I created a graphic for the battery to work along side Font-Awesome. Would really love to see this!

I was surprised about the same. A battery icon is a very standard icon that should please be included.

No "battery progress" for me, just a single battery icon.
I make widgets for the iPhone, and I need a symbol so I can put battery percentage next to it. I want to use the plug icon when phone is charging and battery icon when not. I'm already using Weather Icons by Erik Flowers for my widgets.

Just needed a battery icon in our current project, under the section "Battery efficiency", as a use case. So indeed, I was surprised as well that no battery icon is present. Could we get one going? Nothing fancy with multiple percentages, just at least a fully charged one.

2 years to get a freaking battery icon. This is getting pathetic. Just switch to Google's Material Design icons guys. Unsubscribing from this thread as it is utterly useless.
