Just researching in 3d/responsive/touch ui for my upcoming new web portfolio. An experiment to understand approaches and tech. Disclaimer: like everything here it is pretty buggy, I said.
My 1st low-poly robo' designed and rigged in blender. My 1st attempt of a controlled character in the browser via three.js skinning animation.
Calaveras mean skulls in spanish. My first attempt at sculpt in blender, imported as gltf and staged in gray and pink. Yep.
A rainy monday afternoon dancing with shadows, Object3D and perlin noise. Strictly black and white.
I've spent this locked sunday afternoon playing with three js, perlin noise and the borg cube... I know, I know, no objects, no methods, and a bunch of old arrays... but it has been fun! ;-)
Reverse order
Do you know the famous oneliner "10 Print" for Commodore 64? And the incredible book about it by Nick Monfort & friends? Yeah, I use it and abuse it the 1st day of each semester at my interaction design lab @unirsm since day one. Recently I started to imagine it in 3D, a complex hypercube, like a VR board game for trekkers. Well, this is the 1st experiment in that direction.
I have always want to give physical dimensions and form to our art drawings and allucinations at Teller&k. Here my astro-ship called "morning star"... that's the way, i like it.
