@kittaakos , one of the developers at GE Aviation Systems tried to develop with a newer version of Eclipse (newer than 2018-12) and apparently ran into a "plethora of issues". Is that something you would expect? Seems like there was an issue that came up that would have been resolved with a newer version of Eclipse and/or Xtext....

More detail-- developer reports:
To be more specific, when I import SADL as a set of Maven projects, everything is fine until I restart Eclipse. Upon the second startup, Eclipse creates a "com.ge.research.sadl" project directory within the workspace aside from the "com.ge.research.sadl" project which is within the cloned git repository. I also notice that within the project explorer window, Eclipse now has two projects "com.ge.research.sadl" and "com.ge.research.sadl-com.ge.research.sadl" which have errors. And then when I attempt to import SADL as General, Preexisting Projects, Eclipse still creates a project with the name "com.ge.research.sadl-com.ge.research.sadl" upon restarting Eclipse.
I'm not sure at the moment what dictates this behavior.

I can confirm this. I am working with Version: 2019-03 (4.11.0) Build id: 20190314-1200 and I have to rebuild and reimport everything from scratch after I close my Eclipse. I do not know why this is happening.

Well, maybe others will have similar issues and it will become more apparent what's happening/causing this. For the moment we will stick to 2018-12 I think.

Eclipse now has two projects "com.ge.research.sadl" and "com.ge.research.sadl-com.ge.research.sadl"

As discussed, this issue most likely belongs to https://github.com/crapo/sadlos2.

FYI: I have to bump up the Xtext version, and most likely the Eclipse IDE too to the latest, when I start working on Web SADL.

I will open an upstream issue in SADL if required.

We're currently using Eclipse 2018-12 for development. What version will you go to for Eclipse?
