After making all changes to the cask:

  • brew cask audit --download {{cask_file}} is error-free.
  • brew cask style --fix {{cask_file}} reports no offenses.
  • The commit message includes the cask’s name and version.

Java 9.0.1 brokes homebrew requirements guess:

→ brew info gradle
gradle: stable 4.2.1
Build system based on the Groovy language
https://www.gradle.org/
Not installed
From: https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/blob/master/Formula/gradle.rb
