Normally, fog will be coloured orange by the sunset/rise in both vanilla and in other fog centric mods (ex. Simple Fog Control or Fog Overrides). This isn't the case for "Fog" (see screenshots below) where the fog seems to be exclusively coloured by the time of day (and whichever biome you are in). The screenshot for evening and morning are taken at /time set 12500 and 23500 respectively. At least as far as I know, this has been an issue since the rewrite that came with 1.21, but is still present in the latest version.

MC version: 1.21
Fabric: 0.16.5
Fog: 1.4.0+1.21-fabric

Other mods:
Sodium 0.5.11
Fabric API 0.102.0+1.21
M.R.U 1.0.2+1.21-fabric
Cloth Config API 15.0.130+fabric
Mod Menu 11.0.2
Text Placeholder API 2.4.1+1.21
YetAnotherConfigLib 3.5.0+1.21-fabric

Screenshots of current fog behaviour:
2024-09-09_20 51 12
2024-09-09_20 51 28

Compared screenshots of expected fog behaviour:
2024-09-09_20 57 22
2024-09-09_20 57 28
(Simple Fog Control was used to give the examples of expected fog behaviour, as vanilla fog is barely visible.)

Idk if you need logs, but here they are in case you'd want them for some reason: https://mclo.gs/qrvmzAB
