Snapパッケージに利用するGnomeスタックをgnome-3-34へ更新することを提案します。

メリット

  • snapパッケージの構成ファイル(snapcraft.yaml)の記述量が減る
  • snapパッケージのサイズが減る (46MB/stable, 3MB/edge → 1MB)
  • GTK/Glibのライブラリが新しいバージョンになる
    • GTK 3.24
    • Glib 2.62

デメリット

  • ランタイムパッケージのサイズが増加する (167MB/gnome-3-28-1804 → 267MB/gnome-3-34-1804)
  • i386の対応が外れる？(Snap Store)
    edit(2020-07-11): i386, ppc64el, s390x のサポートを終了します。

i386, ppc64el, s390x 向けに gnome-3-34 extensionパッケージが公開されていないため対象CPUアーキテクチャを amd64, arm64 armhf に限定してパッケージを公開するよう変更します。(#395, #396, #397)
