As seen in Synapse 1.110.0rc1 changelogs:

Filter for public and empty rooms added to Admin-API List Room API. (element-hq/synapse#17276)

The empty room filter could probably used for:

  • synadm room purge-empty

Related commands which use the List Room API:

  • synadm room list
  • Maybe more?
