Please consider writing and installing an AppData file with the application description and some screenshots, else GammaRay looks really bad in the GNOME Software Center. See http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/appdata/ for details; thanks!

I'm taking this one. We have screenshots that are 16:9 ratio, but they are only 500 wide. I hope that's ok.

done in commit 6fb469f

the validator complains that the screenshots are not wide enough, however. I'd rather not have to deal with that. but reopen if that's a showstopper.

Great, thanks! 500px should be fine for now, we just add padding if required.

Problem! You've added an extra character - the ID is set to 'GammayRay' not 'GammaRay' (an extra 'y') - this causes the builder to skip the application appdata completely.
