Highlight referenced annotations on hover

I'm not sure highlighting works too well here, what if the referenced annotation is somewhere in the document not visible in the page scope? (i.e. one has to scroll up or down to see it, and doing so means you no longer hover on the referencing annotation)

Maybe highlight them on click instead then or keep them highlighted for a certain amount of seconds.

You could also jump to the highlighted element on a click.

Is the way an annotation refers to other annotations going to be changed with the KAnnSpec and should I therefore wait before I implement it or should that be fine?

The KAnnSpec is not going to change soon I hope, so implement away.
