Tests still fail. I actually wrote the test on Windows, and it works there, but somehow there are some details different on unix causing it to fail. Found some new info: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11684691/socket-bind-fails-even-after-using-so-reuseaddr-with-ipv6 |

Ok, what I get from that is that having 2 active sockets (what the test does) is not allowed, hence the test failing is by design. Tricky part is that it ('it' being REUSEADDR option) only works when the socket is in state Concluding: keep the code, drop the test. Or am I missing something? |

It is strange that the tests work locally for us (master + next) on OS X. I have somehow lost the progression on this. Could we clarify exactly which tests are failing, on which branches, and on which platforms? Then we will wisely decide which ones need to be dropped. The need to have very reliable CI (Travis/Circle) is very important imo, so I will back any decision improving their reliability. Thanks! |

Just to be sure, and because builds are already really slow: is libuuid1 really needed here? In Kong-Vagrant we only use uuid-dev. I believe libuuid1 depends on uuid-dev but not the other way around.

Ci log says the lib is already at its latest version iirc. So not slowing anything down. But if you want it removed, I'll drop it. |
