Hello, I am once again coming to you for answers on the possibility of importing other databases such as Agribalyse or Agrifootprint? I am not really an expert yet on running LCA softwares so I come here hoping to find suggestions. Just a brief background as to why I am asking this question. My PhD work is on impact assessment of feed ingredients both new and conventional and I found that not all inventories (of animal feed ingredients) are available in ecoinvent, but some you can find in agribalyse and agrifootprint.

Unfortunately, AB can currently not import these databases. We have importing more different databases on the horizon in the longer term though. Perhaps you may be able to import these databases with Brightway2 directly and use them in AB. @cmutel Would you know if it's possible to import these databases?

Agribalyse is possible, here is 1.3, but this needs to be updated (we have an updated version, just haven't implemented it yet).

I haven't seen Agri-footprint, but as this is probably using the SimaPro elementary flow list it should be possible. It is licensed so I can't test it myself.

First of all, great tool! Thanks a lot for this!

I am also interested in using Agribalyse with AB and found this:

How can I access a database that is not imported directly through the GUI?

Hii! I wanted to ask if anyone knows if this procedure is still applicable for importing AGRIBALYSE 3.1.1 on Brightway2 (as I saw an updated version mentioned in the comments)? Is there a way to import it directly to Activity Browser as the .xlsx (I tried, yet the linking failed due to "no 'database' section found")? Is there a specific format of the .xlsx file I should upload to AB?
