Specific feedback

1

"before you jump in, please spend 2 minutes reading this guide (if you haven't read the How to Build Learning Units guide, please read that one first)."

I would actually say that that it is more like a 20 minute read. if it's okay to just skim and not understand all of it we can say that but I think that it would be worth it for them to give it an actual read before moving on with the rest of the wiki page

2

"All of these are valuable, and you should open issues and label them accordingly."

The "open issues" link does not work

3

"Under no circumstances should you push to an OS repository"

What is an OS repository?

4

Maybe mention somewhere that they can use the #dev-ops channel in slack if they are having technical difficulties.

5

Would it be a good idea to link to the signup form? Also, should we mention the amount of time that it takes to contribute in what capacity in order to help them planning?

  • 1. replaced the language to reflect that it is a bit of a time investment to read
  • 2. removed link, as the reader may not have access to the instructors version
  • 3. Open source, made it clearer
  • 4. Added to infrequently asked questions
  • 5. Very, very good point. Added a Where to start section
