  • Getting larger buttons to make them more visible and more appealing for the layout
  • Add a button to force update the game

I understand the visual changes (though getting them to work well cross-platform is a mess I gave up on already), but I want to comment on the other point.

What is the purpose of the force update button? The old launcher had an option to not automatically update on startup, so the button was needed there. However, that feature hasn't been added to this launcher yet (and may not be added at all), so the update button doesn't seem like it has any use. What is the use-case for the update button here?

Mostly to fill out the bar field atm, it's a bit empty and large :u

A lot of that space is needed to make the error messages legible :P

Also, some days a lot of commits are pushed to the developer branch. If you want the newest version now, you have to restart the launcher. Just a force update button would make life easier :)
