[Authme 2] Support import from Aegis #100
Comments
If I add this feature is should by added to Authme, not Authme Web. But I will look into this. |
Not sure if you've had a chance to look into this or not yet but in any case, you can move this issue to another repo if it's better there: https://docs.github.com/en/github/managing-your-work-on-github/transferring-an-issue-to-another-repository |
Sure, I don't have much time lately but I transfer this. |
I'm no longer using this app so you can ignore this. (I still love the app, I've just found something that suits my specific needs better) |
@julianfairfax If I may ask what app did you found? |
Well I only use Linux so I'm just using GNOME Authenticator at the moment |
Aegis is an authenticator app for Android which has support for making encrypted backups of its vault as detailed in https://github.com/beemdevelopment/Aegis/blob/master/docs/vault.md If support for importing these backups is added, it would make it possible to use alongside Aegis in the case that you don't have your phone with you but have a backup stored somewhere. Personally I backup my Aegis vault to cloud storage so this would effectively allow syncing, and I would then have more of a use for Authme. Thanks for your work on this app and website!
