Our Pledge

We, as contributors and maintainers of the Qjulia project, pledge to foster an open and welcoming environment. Our commitment is to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of personal and professional backgrounds.

Our Standards

Positive behavior examples include:

  • Using welcoming, inclusive, and technically appropriate language
  • Respecting differing viewpoints, especially in scientific and technical debates
  • Gracefully accepting and offering constructive criticism to improve the codebase and documentation
  • Prioritizing what is best for the scientific integrity and usability of the project
  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness towards other community members

Unacceptable behavior includes:

  • Use of sexualized language, imagery, or unwelcome sexual attention
  • Trolling, insulting comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information without permission
  • Any conduct deemed unprofessional or inappropriate in a research setting

Our Responsibilities

Maintainers are responsible for clarifying standards of acceptable behavior. They are expected to take corrective action in response to instances of unacceptable behavior and have the right to remove, edit, or reject contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces and when an individual represents the project or community. Representation may include using an official project e-mail, social media, or acting as a representative at events.

Enforcement

Abusive, harassing, or unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project team at Reel0112358.13@proton.me. Complaints will be reviewed and investigated, resulting in a response appropriate to the circumstances. The project team will maintain confidentiality regarding incident reporters.

Maintainers not upholding these standards may face repercussions as determined by the project's leadership.
