I decided that my engine is strong and stable enough to be released as version 1, so the engine also had to be named: Peripheral
The main change since the last release was the addition of threefold repetition detection.
CCRL rating estimate:
~1960
I have a lot of plans for improvements for this engine, but with this release I wanted to to set a baseline, so the upcoming progress is clearer and can be more structured.
Since no PEXT instructions are used yet, the binary should run on all Windows machines.
I'm still looking into building for Linux, but it can easily be built natively from source using
cargo build --release
.Full Changelog: v0.1.7...v1.0.0
