DDI is compliant with both GSIM and ISO 11179, which you can look up if you really want to. As we develop DHIS2 we also want to be interoperable with OpenHIE and its emerging Taxonomy Service, and with the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). IATI is not a full-featured standard. It's a way for funders and NGOs to label their data in a standard way, without requiring in-depth technical detail.
