There should be a quick way to add rules for the current tab.
let's say we're on hello.world.tld, then the following options should be available

add hello.world.tld as [white/gray]
add *.hello.world.tld as [white/gray]
add *.world.tld as [white/gray]

Except if the rule already exists of course.
