Blackmagic Web Presenter

The Blackmagic Web Presenter is used for streaming in MCT. It functions as a capture card, providing a video feed to USB. It "only" outputs 720p, but this can still be quite fine with a good input. As a secondary function, audio can be connected, making it a simple audio input device.

It has 2 video inputs, one HDMI and one SDI. Both have the option to loop the video signal back out using the same type of connector. Using the buttons on the front panel, either the SDI or HDMI can be selected to be output.

Audio settings.

Audio can be routed to the stereo phono inputs or the line XLR input on the back of the Blackmagic Web Presenter.

How to change volume of XLR input:

  1. Push MENU button
  2. Roll knob until you get the menu "Audio Mixer"
  3. Push SET button
  4. Roll knob and choose XLR input level by pushing SET button
  5. Roll knob to set value
