Assigning badges to Users

What are badges?

Badges are used to recognize expertise and knowledge among the registered users of a Project, especially within the comments/conversation sections.

What's the meaning of each badge?

There are 4 possible types of users, identified with these badges:

  1. Project expert add badge icon
  2. Project personnel add badge icon
  3. Citizen expert add badge icon
  4. Non-expert citizen - no badge

Assigning badges to Users

Badges are assigned by project admins/personnel in the Users management section by following these steps:

  1. Go to Users on the main menu on the left. You'll see a list of all the registered users in each project.
  2. From the badge options that appear next to a User's name, click on the badge you want to assign to the User based on their expertise and knowledge.
  3. If you need to make changes to a User's status, follow the steps above and click on the appropriate badge.
