Assigning badges to Users

Badges are used to recognize expertise and knowledge among the registered users of a Project, especially within the comments/conversation sections.
There are 4 possible types of users, identified with these badges:
- Project expert add badge icon
- Project personnel add badge icon
- Citizen expert add badge icon
- Non-expert citizen - no badge
Badges are assigned by project admins/personnel in the Users management section by following these steps:
- Go to Users on the main menu on the left. You'll see a list of all the registered users in each project.
- From the badge options that appear next to a User's name, click on the badge you want to assign to the User based on their expertise and knowledge.
- If you need to make changes to a User's status, follow the steps above and click on the appropriate badge.
