Library System Data Analysis

This is a data analysis project of a library system, where data about borrowed books and the users who borrowed them were collected. The objective is to extract useful insights from this data using the Python programming language with pandas, plotly, and matplotlib libraries, and Jupyter Notebook as a development environment.

Installation

To install the project, follow the steps below:

  • Clone this repository on your local machine.
  • Install the dependencies with the following command: pip install pandas plotly matplotlib jupyterlab
  • Run the command jupyter lab in a terminal to open the development environment.

Usage

To use the data analysis project, follow the instructions below:

  • Open the 7DaysToCode_PythonPandas.ipynb file in Jupyter Notebook.
  • Run the notebook cells to generate the visualizations.

  • Importing data from a CSV/Excel/Parquet file
  • Descriptive statistics analysis
  • Data visualization with bar and line plots and box_plot
