I opened Wiitar Thing and connected my wiimote to my computer. The message pops up, telling me to wait for the drivers to install, so I wait. After getting a message in the bottom right of my computer saying it is connected (and I did uncheck "Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect"), I still do not see the wiimote in the left column of Wiitar Thing. Now after being connected to my computer, my 4 wiimote lights barely light up and when they do, it only blinks once or twice and then stops. I've removed my wiimote and reconnected it to my computer several times. I've also been through countless forums and reddit posts with the same issue. I follow the instructions on the post that work for other people but I am not getting the same result as they did. I went to the Wiitar Drivers and made sure configure service was the only thing checked off and all that did was connect my wiimote faster and with fewer errors. My computer did not have Bluetooth on its own so I bought a USB dongle for Bluetooth. Could that be the issue?
Edit: I have noticed that when the wiimote is connected to my computer and I hold the power button down on the wiimote, it switches to "paired" but when I hit any button the wiimote becomes "connected" but I don't see any lights turn on. Also when I install the configure service on the wiitar driver, I get a few messages and this is one of them "No matching devices found in INF "F:\Clone Hero\clonehero-win64\Wiitar Thing\Wiitar Drivers\System\Ds3WinUsb.inf" on the Machine." Im not sure if that is important though??
