Both these games run fine using the Colecovision core to run SG-1000 games, but have issues on SMS core.

I believe Serizawa Hachidan no Tsumeshougi (Japan) is affected by the same or a similar issue. It also appears to work correctly in the Colecovision core.

I've been going through the SG-1000 library today and this is what I've found:

Pop Flamer is another game that loads with garbled graphics in the SMS core but works fine in the ColecoVision core. Terebi Oekaki shows nothing but a black screen in the SMS core, but loads in the ColecoVision core.

The games requiring the SG-1000 RAM Extension work fine on the ColecoVision core, but get stuck at the boot logo on the SMS core.

The games The Castle and Othello won't load on either core.

no idea if this is still of relevance. AFAIK the Castle and Othello have their additional RAM at another address, 0x8000.
