I came across your helpful package from your blog post (via ROpenSci), and have found both to be super helpful. I have one question that I haven't been able to find an answer to: What is the purpose of including @export in the template (and function definition)? That seems to be only relevant to an R package, and I haven't seen its purpose in the {drake} documentation (though I very well could be missing it).

Fair question.

I also use this tool when developing R packages.
