07. How to upgrade
- Close out of Silmaril.exe
- Unload silmaril on all characters
send @all lua unload silmaril
Navigate to the github page: https://github.com/Mirdain/Silmaril/releases
Scroll down to Assets on either the beta version, or the main release depending on which one you are after. Remember, the beta is the most up to date, has the most features, and more recent bug fixes.
Click to download Silmaril.exe and Silmaril.zip
Once downloaded, navigate to your downloads folder and you will find the two items.
Unzip the Silmaril.zip then copy the contents of the folder after it has been unzipped.
Navigate to the Silmaril folder within windower addons, and paste.
It will prompt to replace. Select Replace the files in the destination
Next return to your downloads folder and copy the Silmaril.exe then find your Silmaril install folder.
Paste the new exe in the folder to replace your current exe.
Load the new silmaril.lua on all characters send @all lua load silmaril
Then run the new EXE as administrator as usual. Windows defender will prompt you, as it doesn't recognize the program.
Click More info, then Run anyway.
