Cursor Position on shift key

I am querty layout and IE 8. When use shift key and enter caps letter and then press the shift key again, the cursor position jumps to initial position. This works fine in firefox and is an issue only on IE.

I seem to remember this being an issue in earlier versions, are you using the most recent version?

Yes i am using the latest version.

Hi Mottie, Any further debug ideas ? I am stuck and on this issue and cannot find a work around. I have used this keyboard in my application for the user's to enter their password and CAPS letters is required based on the password rules. Any help is greatly appreciated

I tried duplicating the problem you are describing but I wasn't able to... I used the basic demo . I actually don't have an original version of IE8 to test this, but I have IETester (which I know isn't equivalent) and also tried it in IE9 set to IE8 compatibility mode.
