This setting allows you to choose how fast the locations have to be recorded. For runners, a precise tracking like “(/2 seconds)” is recommend, whereas hikers should prefer a medium one like “(/10 seconds)”, since a fast tracking will use more battery.
Related to this request, dynamic update frequency on the viewer side of things would be nice to see. For instance, while the app is in the foreground, received locations where the speed is indicative of the sender walking/riding a bicycle/traveling in a car could attempt to update (from nostr) more frequently than those where the speed indicates that the sender is stationary. Perhaps a different map icon could be displayed when that speed threshold is met to indicate that the person or device is traveling.
