Hi, thanks all for accepting my invitation to test out the new features and documentation from BGCFlow!

Your task is to:

• Have a look at the repo: https://github.com/NBChub/bgcflow/tree/dev-0.7.2-1
• Follow the instruction in the BGCFlow wiki:
  
• Try to install BGCFlow on your local machines
• Try to run the example project
• Ask questions and make comments if you find any problems

IMPORTANT:

• For this session, please use BGCFlow wrapper branch dev-0.2.8 and BGCFlow branch dev-0.7.2-1

# create and activate a new conda environment
conda create -n bgcflow pip -y
conda activate bgcflow

# install BGCFlow wrapper
pip install git+https://github.com/NBChub/bgcflow_wrapper.git@dev-0.2.8

# Deploy and run BGCFlow
BGCFLOW_PATH="bgcflow_0.7.2-1"
bgcflow clone $BGCFLOW_PATH --branch "dev-0.7.2-1" # clone BGCFlow to BGCFLOW_PATH
cd $BGCFLOW_PATH # move to BGCFLOW_PATH
bgcflow init # initiate BGCFlow config and examples from template
bgcflow run -n # do a dry run, remove the flag "-n" to run the example dataset

Hi all, there has been some recent development to enable users directly synchronize generated duckdb database from the workflow with the Metabase instance.

You can update you bgcflow wrapper by using pip:

pip install git+https://github.com/NBChub/bgcflow_wrapper.git
bgcflow --version # it should be v0.3.1

and you can update the repository by using:

cd <my bgcflow directory>
git fetch
git status
git checkout dev-0.7.4
