This is a list of frequently-asked questions that the NCEAS/DataONE dev team have received by the following groups of people:

• Metacat and MetacatUI end users
• Metacat and MetacatUI developers
• Metacat and MetacatUI administrators (data managers, etc.)

The goal of this list is to collect these questions as they come in via email and Slack so they don't get lost to the sands of time. Then we can work on writing answers as part of the larger documentation.

How can we add/modify access to data packages in MetacatUI?
Once a package is published with DOI, we will want to edit/update as needed - edits may be in R and may be in MetacatUI - once edits are done we will want to re-publish with a new DOI, correct?
can we change the type of file in MetacatUI?
How can I assign a series ID via MetacatUI?
How do you change the extents of the map in the search view?
How do I delete an object or dataset?
