gsi.x and enkf.x fix files are obtained from two locations

  • ASCII fix files are recursively cloned from a specified GSI-fix has
  • Binary fix files are copied from EIB maintained direcory GSI_BINARY_SOURCE_DIR during the build process

The local fix populated when cloning and building GSI develop does not include all the files used by the operational GFS. Specifically, binary fix file Rcov_crisn21 is not copied from GSI_BINARY_SOURCE_DIR to fix/.

This issue is opened to document updates to ensure the local fix/ is populated with the appropriate files
