I saw that the last commit to this repo was in 2021.

I tried to run the discovery and list entities code examples but didn't get any results.

Can someone confirm that this code works for the last version of ESPhome?

Tested again, discovery works and getting Device info and list entities was missing part in readme in order to work.
Created a pr for that from one of the more updated forks, will link it now

Found one fork that decided to continue working on this package and improve it

He improved the code, accepted my pr, and made the discovery actually usable (before it took about 2 hours to find a device).

I have asked him to upload a version to npm
