NeverSink's itemfilter - version 4.21 minor update

  • Adjusted the version-generator to remove alertsounds if the item is hidden.
  • The royal burgonet is now the top-tier armor crafting base (GGG's helmets are confusing :D).
  • Added dropsounds to the new crafting bases (>79 or >75 if rare) and increased their fontsize
  • The dropsounds of lowlevel maps are a less loud

NeverSink's itemfilter - version 4.2 (for POE 2.4/atlas POLISHING UPDATE)

GENERAL :

NOTE: The slick version is not updated in this version. Reason can be found below.

I've finally finished a small tool that auto-generates non-regular versions for me, allowing me to update easier, safer, introduce better filtering mechanics (as seen in this update) into the non-regular versions and potentially have more versions.

This update improves the filtering of the semi-strict/strict/UBERstrict a lotversions, reintroduces warband helmets markup (high level only, see below), adds a new block for highlighting selected 6S ilvl 84/83 items, slighlty improves the markup of maps and currency and fixes some bugs.

The next update will enable me to have easy stylesheet and color-table generations, I'll update the slick version, once it's done.

Filterversions :

  • Regular - displays all rares
  • Semi-Strict - hides all "*/bad rares" in the endgame and also all "clunky/ok" rares. Also hides clunky chromatic recipes, still shows gavels and a very small asortment of crafting trinkets (twostone, onyx, diamond)
  • Strict - hides all non-good and even the good/2h items that are not top-tier. Recommended for large parties and heavy magic find characters. NOT recommended for beginners.
  • UBER-Strict - [NEW] Crazy filtering level. You've been warned. It displays only the Creme de la Creme. Hides >90% rares, portals, wisdoms, armorers, agumentations, most recipes etc.
  • Slick - same as regular, however less colors.

NOTE: Currently there exists a bug, that causes some fonts to appear weird ("empty boxes", distance between letters distant or wrong letters). This bug is caused by the POE engine itself and is not related to the filter (it can happen with other filters or even without them in other game parts too). If this happens to you: restart the game and it should be all gone. Please stop E-Mailing me about it, there's sadly nothing I can do, since this is client-related. GGG is aware of the bug.

CONTENT:

  • Added the UBER-strict version. You can find more details in the version description above.
  • The code is now even more tidy, displays correctly in NotePad and is easier to keep up-to-date.
  • Improved the filtering of the Semi-Strict version. It's a little bit more strict now
  • Improved the filtering of the Strict version. It now differs between top tier and other items (the other items have no green backgrounds)
  • The strict version now has a significantly smaller 83/84 crafting item list.
  • Added Kris to the crafting lists
  • Updated all versions to switch to non-leveling-mode at level 66. The dried lake is now a tiny bit cleaner.
  • Added 4 cards to the "trash-tier" divination cards (hermit, king's blade, prosperity, metalsmith's gift). They no longer give off sounds. I apologize if this upsets the creaters of those cards.
  • Added new section that highlights selected ilvl 83/84 bases.
  • Added a section for redblade warband helmets. To see them, you have to click alt/F (or whatever the key to display hidden items is for you). Magic helmets (ilvl 80+) will get highlighted in a red hue. Note that this affects ALL helmets, no matter who dropped them. Only use this when fighting redblade warbands (beacon map). If you want to enable other warbands you can do it in the code manually

VISUAL:

  • Changed up some item-sizes (maps mostly to distinguish different map tiers better)
  • Low maps have a weaker background
  • Mid-High currency (chaos, vaal, regret, GCP, regal and some special ones) have a slightly more orangish hue on drop. - I'm considering reintroducing the GONG sound on those, feedback welcome.

SOUNDS:

  • Guardian map fragments don't give off the high-tier-item sound anymore (they still have the white background). The drop is expected and takes away a bit excitement.

BUGFIXES:

  • This and that. I programmed 7 hours straight today and totally forgot what else I did o_O

  • Reworked the divination card tier list. The new tier list is more suited to represent the current economy.
  • Updated the unique item tier list to better fit the current economy.
  • Added ilvl >= 50 crude bows, since those are meta now.
  • The semi-strict version now displays all chisel recipes
  • The semi-strict version now has a small assortment of pre 83/84 crafting trinkets (twostone, onyx, diamond - only 75+)

VISUAL:

  • Slightly tweaked the divination card appearances. Higher divination cards now stand out a little more.
  • Changed the rare jewel appearance to have a tiny bit more contrast

SOUNDS:

  • Stacked decks, shrieking essences and master cartographers sextants , now give off a mid tier (2) sound, instead of an high tier (6) drop sound.
  • Random map fragments now make a mid tier (2) sound instead of a map drop sound (4). This way boss kills in corrupted maps, don't give the illusion of dropping maps.

BUGFIXES:

  • The Semi-strict version, now correctly hides clunky rares.
  • The Semi-strict version, now correctly displays mediocre rares (ilvl 75+) in the orangish hue
  • The Slick version now uses the correct borders for top tier rares.

NeverSink's itemfilter - version 4.0 (for POE 2.4/atlas)

WORD OF WARNING: If for some reason the filter will not work at the start, I'll fix the mistakes within the first 5 minutes, just check the github again in a few minutes.

This is a massive update to the filter and it changes and hopefully improves every section.

Filterversions:

  • Regular - displays all rares
  • Semi-Strict - hides all "*/bad rares" in the endgame and also all "clunky/ok" rares. Also hides clunky chromatic recipes, non 83/84 crafting items and is recommended for small parties and experienced players. The one I'm using. Only has sorcerer's boots as a chance base.
  • Strict - hides all non-good and even the good/2h items that are not top-tier. Recommended for large parties and heavy magic find characters. NOT recommended for beginners.
  • Slick - same as regular, however less colors.

CHANGELOG:

ATLAS MATERIAL ADDED TO FILTER:

  • Reworked the map section. It's now DropLevel based and split into T15/16
  • Added essences, remnants, sextant's... (all new Atlas items, details below)
  • Added new bases to the crafting, rare and 84+ sections, they have a organish border
  • Added new divination cards (the void card temp. has a purple border)
  • Added Shaper Orb's to the questitems
  • Added essences! T1-T5 essences have a blue background, T6 the same background as Stacked Decks and T7 the same as exalted orbs
  • Added Master Cartographer's and "corrupted essences" to teh stacked deck section.
  • Possibly other things I forgot, but did it anyway ._.

STRUCTURE:

  • Cleaned up and sorted all entries in the filter using a .NET tool.
  • Changed the structure of several sections.
  • Reworked all itemsizes. Priority pickups are all a tiny big larger
    now, while all other items are smaller
  • Revamped the rare section. Removed the simple 69+ base items evaluation and added T1/T2 rares instead with slightly stronger highlight (same color, but more opacity/size)
  • Revamped the divination cards a tiny bit

CURRENCY:

  • All currency items now have a background. The background is very subliminal for low currency and only noticable (and looks good) in groups

RARES:

  • Rare rings, amulets, jewels and belts have a slightly strong green
    background

CRAFTING:

  • Added the new base items! Since they're novelty and usually quite
    powerful, they'll be generally visible, no matter the rarity. 83/84
    versions of those items will receive a special highlighting.
  • Itemlevel 83/84 crafting list now has 2 tiers. The most popular
    crafting bases have a stronger yellow border ( BaseType "Onyx Amulet"
    "Diamond" "Prismatic" "Titanium Spirit Shield" "Hubris Circlet"
    "Sorcerer Boots" "Sorcerer Gloves" "Vaal Regalia" ).
  • Added heretics veil to the Chance item list

SOUNDS:

  • Changed the dropsounds for Chaos Orbs and similar Dropsound item from 1 -> 2
  • Added a dropsound for "random uniques". Only the good ones will have the same sound as exalted/divines now

LEVELLING:

  • Reworked ALL levelling sections
  • During the first 12 levels, where you still pick up/sell white items
    for wisdoms, clunky normal rarity items (and shields/body armours that
    slow you down) are less white and more grey.
  • Changed the highlighting for rare gloves, boots, helmets and caster
    items while levelling.
  • Added extra highlighting for coral rings, leather belts and saphire
    rings during the first 12 levels.
  • Added a special section where you can easily define and disable
    certain item classes while levelling. e.G. you only want to see bows of
    all weapons.
  • Made the levelling section work better in the essence league (special highlighting/evaluation for good weapon bases)

MAP FRAGMENTS:

  • Lower values fragments are now red-text/border with a black background
  • Higher value fragments are now balck-text/border with a red background
  • Top tier fragments still have white backgrounds.
  • The 4 compass rose fragments are classified as top tier in the filter

SPECIAL:

  • Improved the failsafe that prevents absolutely new item classes from
    getting hidden
  • Added special tags throughout the filter for easier search and for the
    FilterBlade project.
  • Added some disabled optional sections: ranged animated weapons,
    identified magic animated weapons, identified ranged magic animated
    weapons
  • Made jewel drops super pretty. This is a buff!
  • Thank you for all your energy \o/!!!
  • There's likely more changes I forgot, this version really changed the majority of all sections, but I hope you guys like the outcome!

Lootfilter 3.302b - Update for POE 2.3.2

  • Updated the lootfilter for 2.3.2
  • Added new divination cards to the tier lists
  • Added the stacked deck currency to the "special currencies". It looks similar to chaos orbs - currency items, but larger and with a more orangish hue.
  • A few minor polishing tasks

Also added some special versions for the player's for are affected by the font distortion issues.

Changelog:

  • "Fixed" the Slick and Personal version. Their settings were somewhat swapped.

Known Problems/Bugs:

  • The new 2.3 soundengine causes ANY poe filter to sound weirdly sometimes it seems
  • This does not affect ingame performance but the slick filter formatting is slightly ugly, I'll clean this up another time
