Please use persistent high alert if you need to!

We have reduced the smart snooze alert threshold for high alerts as of the April 7, 2024 release.

A consequence of this change is that if you have a high alert and you snooze it and after the snooze time is over you are still high, you will not get another alert if your readings are decreasing even if they are decreasing at a very low rate.
This is a change in behavior compared to how xDrip behaved previously.

It is very easy to remedy this by using the persistent high alert.
If you set up the persistent high alert, you will get an alert if you are high longer than a set amount of time regardless of your high alert and whether you snoozed it or not.
But, you need to set up the persistent high alert for this.

So, if you think the change we have made will affect you, please enable the persistent high alert.
