Describe the bug

On some systems I get an error with store path '[NAME].drv ' contains illegal character ' '.

I was first notified of this issue here: cid-chan/peerix#3

Steps To Reproduce

It happens in this morph repository: https://git.cid-chan.moe/cid-chan/nixservers
Deploying on some of the servers there e.g. 10.3.0.23

I wish I could be more concise but I have no idea how to get more info or, indeed, how to make it reliably reproducable. I have asked in multiple chats if they have any idea how to further debug this but I was reliably ignored.

Expected behavior

The derivation should build

nix-env --version output
nix-env (Nix) 2.5pre20211007_844dd90
