This looks like the same error I'm getting in #108534 , is this the best solution for this at this point? Unfortunately what I'm trying to build is based on cmake rather than make, so I don't know if this will be directly applicable. |
Yeah. The fix for this one here is probably not directly applicable to a
cmake project. Weird that someone got into that mess using cmake.

My bad - even though protobuf includes cmake files, the build actually seems to be based on automake(?). However I attempted a similar patch using sed, but the protobuf *.la files don't appear to exist yet by the preBuild hook.
