Describe the bug

see here: intel/thermal_daemon#340 and intel/thermal_daemon#338

I'm patching locally for now, hopefully they merge it and tag a release.

thermald is pulled into a number of systems via nixos-hardware

I guess #162568 fixed this in the meantime.
