It'd be great if we were allowed to customise updatedb.conf normally residing in /etc/updatedb.conf. Currently service.locate runs updatedb with hard-coded options:

exec updatedb --localuser=nobody --output=${locatedb} --prunepaths='/tmp /var/tmp /media /run'

My specific use-case is to allow updatedb to go into my NFS mount points. I'm aware that it's possible to set environment variables.
