Building from source is of course ideal, but they do have binary releases as well.

Haven't tried it, but anything would be better than what i have :P.

Hey, just wanted to drop by and see if anyone is still working on it?
I'm pretty new to Nix[pkgs|OS] but I have the same need.

I tried to write a naive derivation using the binary, but it fails with missing (I guess) runtime libraries.
I also tried from source (NodeJS + Gulp project) but I have to admit it seems pretty complex for a noob to write such a derivation.

I can try again but I definitely need guidance 😞

For the binary problem, I've read things around patchELF but this is pretty obscure to me, even with Nix doc on the matter 😢

I made a PR for this #69393 but I bet it may take a while to get it merged.
