Motivation for this change
Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing
    (nix.useSandbox on NixOS,
    or option build-use-sandbox in nix.conf
    on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • OS X
    • Linux
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

I'm not sure if all those patches from debian are needed. At least 4 (so it uses the new plugins after a update and not cached) and 8 (so the build doesn't depend on date) are.

LGTM, but I think adding so many patches to the nixpkgs repo is not a good idea.

You can use fetchpatch and just fetch them from https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-games/pcsxr.git/tree/debian/patches?h=debian/1.9.94-2, e.g. https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-games/pcsxr.git/plain/debian/patches/01_fix-i386-exec-stack.patch?h=debian/1.9.94-2.
