# This is the 1st commit message: Added option to build the R library, which allows for GPU support. The R package build is not compatible with the python or CLI build because the xgboost.so it produces is not full featured. This build works and can be loaded directly in R via .libPaths. However, it is not integrated with the rest of the R packaging system in nix. WIP. # This is the commit message NixOS#2: formatting # This is the commit message NixOS#3: whitespace # This is the commit message NixOS#4: switched to rLibrary as argument name. moved R and libs to propogatedBuildInputs # This is the commit message NixOS#5: added R dependencies back to nativeBuildInputs # This is the commit message NixOS#6: updated with corrections from jbedo. first working build. testing cuda and aarch64-darwin

This is essentially the same fix as NixOS#161740, except not just for macOS. The `dnspython` build was failing on Linux with a certificate verification failure just like in NixOS#161740: ```ShellSession $ nix build nixpkgs#python3Packages.dnspython --rebuild error: builder for '/nix/store/c1v553fzq3yybsd0lm398qf87jmy47qd-python3.10-dnspython-2.3.0.drv' failed with exit code 1; last 10 log lines: > > /nix/store/iw1vmh509hcbby8dbpsaanbri4zsq7dj-python3-3.10.10/lib/python3.10/ssl.py:1342: SSLCertVerificationError … ``` … and this change fixes that build failure.
