MalwareBytes consistently detects a false-positive when launching Leapp, resulting in Leapp giving a blank window, rendering the software unusable.

Issue had been reported, however surfaces with every new version again.
Blank

The detection occurs in Temp folder e.g.:

C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\2f9ea2f3-138a-4e92-9ecd-3c67a948b137.tmp.node

Leapp Version
Occurs with current version, however same behavior with older versions as well.

If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Desktop:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2
  • Leapp Version 0.24.6

Hi @anton-linnvo, we just tried Leapp in Windows 10 workstation. We run a MalwareBytes scan and we didn't find any threats, even with Leapp running in the background. Are there any other contextual information that we're missing?
