"Script extender not available for game version 3.6.28

Hi I just installed the game and tried to tweak it a little bit with a few mods but whenever I launch the game I get the message "Script extender uptade failed : Script extender not available for game version v3.6.28.8354" meaning some of my mods won't work.

Is it possible to update the game? I'm on 3.6.117.3735 (through Steam) and Script Extender v57 is working fine.

you're using codex version and cannot install update since the links are down, i'm sure that's why.
