Generate a checklist for Open Science projects #45

Make a checklist out of our core topics, but make it open and inclusive, more like a general overview. An inspiration for Open Science projects. Could then lead to badges for projects.

I remember a while back, mind a bit vague now, but in order to call yourself (in very broad terms) an open development project you needed to have:

  1. An open repository
  2. A public mailing list (with a public archive)
  3. A public issues system
  4. A web page

or something like that. It would be nice to do something similar for an open science project. You can call yourself an open science project if you observe the following principles and determining those principles would be good. You want high level but specific things.

@aleimba with badges for projects you mean these? http://openresearchbadges.org/ Could be helpful to map them to the research cycle and see how much they cover.

Exactly, can be a badge to indicate this is an Open Science project according to the general guidelines checklist.

But also in more detail what constitues this Open Science project, Open Data, Open Educational Resources etc.
