[Feature Request] Mention someone in comment #421
Comments
Released in 7.1.0 |
This does not appear to work under a Cloudron hosting environment. I can +Mention people but they do not get a notification of any kind. Is there further info I can provide to help debug? I have Notifications module 2.10.1 enabled in Nextcloud. |
Thanks @pierreozoux for asking and @LinneyS for the feature. I'm going to try it ang give a feedback. |
Hi, We have an on-prem installation on NextCloud 22.1.1, ONLYOFFICE 6.4.0 and ONLYOFFICE app for NextCloud 7.1.2. The only case when notifications are sent to people being mentioned in document is when the document is being shared via this mention. If a person already has an access to a document and you just mention him or her in a comment to attract attention, then no notification is sent. How can I fix this behaviour? Regards, |
I wonder if anyone gets notifications for these comments? As this ticket is closed and feature implemented, maybe we should open a new ticket for this apparent bug. |

Hi,
currently this is available in OnlyOffice Groupware edition, and it would be nice if this would be available within Nextcloud too.

Thanks for considering this.
One of our user mentionned that this would allow his team's collaboration to reach Google Doc kind of experience.
