The way that the omnisuit causes your scales/fur/chitin/feathers/etc is confusing in the appearance face description, looking something like this "Your face is fairly human in shape, but is covered in black scales over fair skin." The black being due to being covered in the omnisuit. I am not sure if this form for the description was intentional.
I was confused since I had some rask-morph and could not find out why I had black scales (despite knowing I had the omnisuit on), and nothing seemed to be able to alter the color. I spent awhile trying to figure this out before finally tracking it down to the skinFurScales function in creature.as. and of course, the omnisuit.
