Q: is ASP.net going to use it for their web platform installer? A: possible.

Q: Any plan to expose microsoft.com/downloads through this (other than through Chocolatey)? Comment Windows update would be awesome.. would love to do the equiv of yum upgrade for OS as well as apps Comment:  + DO WANT store apps

Q: Did MS touch on compatibility with Windows 6.1?  Is the Win 6.2+ requirement just for the CTP?  All this stuff sounds very interesting... but won't see the light of day for a while in our env. if limited to Win8+ A: codeplex release will support PowerShell 3, Win8 above (PS3 shipped on Win8, but is supported to Srver 2008 R2 and Win7)

Q: what about upgrades/downgrades side-by-side. Bugs about version numbers A: upgrade, yes need to deal with it and provide a cmdlet in the near future. Comment: The behavior between libraries and programs tend to be pretty different for side-by-side. It's one thing that hurt us in CoApp
